Las weekend, we had a fantastic dish at Cafe Luhera so I thought it was time to update my list of favorite food offerings in this city.
The main list:
- Stuffed Dates (their apple manchego salad is pretty good too), Firefly
- Korean Beef Brisket Ox Bone Soup, Tang, Tang, Tang
- Steamed Pork (mini size is plenty for two or three), Tang, Tang, Tang
- Radiatorre with black garlic, lemon, cream sauce (lunch only), Esther’s Kitchen
- Hainan Chicken, Flock and Fowl
- Kunefe Dessert, Maza
- Espresso, Publicus
On a provisional basis, here are two dishes (one old one new):
- Beef and Collard Greens Stew, Cafe Luhena
- Kuro Ramen Black Garlic Oil, Monta
And here are a few things that we’ve been hunting for with little success:
- a decent Korean Tofu Soup place
- a definitive Chili Verde dish
- killer tacos, there are plenty of decent ones, but nothing that has grabbed us.
