Before we turned back for lunch, we absorbed the view beyond the poplar grove.

We played catapult last weekend.
One bed was a fortress of blankets and pillows.
I lay on the other bed and lobbed stuffed animals over the walls.
They jumped, blocked, and threw the animals back.
Surprisingly, mom didn’t give us grief about the mess.
Unsurprisingly, my shoulder was sore for a few days.

The winners start the path to become big leaguers tomorrow.
